Welcome to fall my lovely followers! <3

This was officially the last day of summer, and what a better way to bring in the new season than to wear a mustard yellow dress and tights. During these breezy autumn days, I've learned to enjoy the sights of the leaves bleeding into a beautiful oxblood.

So, my outfit today was all over inspired by the leaves and the change of the seasons. From the warm brown of my sweater to the contrast of the mustard yellow and black, I loved the feeling of wearing my tights again.

I most definitely have to give credit to where it is due. This styling was all due to my mother! At first I was a bit apprehensive about the stripe on stripe trend ESPECIALLY since they were horizontal stripes, which are supposedly the most unflattering, but BP. Nordstroms did me well, and the cut and fabric of the shirt and skirt were sooooo comfy. Mustard yellow is most definitely one of my new colors for fall I think, in addition to oxblood.

This outfit was truely one of my last hurrahs before the start of fall. Of course I will be wearing my hi-low skirts and dresses with tights, but I will miss my bare legs. Goodbye Summer!

I do love the intricate detailing that went around the skirt, and the zig-zags were a perfect gold/silver mix and matched any jewelry that I put on. The flowiness of the skirt combined with the boxiness of the blouse was a perfect mix, and definitely satisfied any need to be girly.

I thought this outfit was a perfect transition into the fall season. With the popular oxblood color on my legs and the coolest sweater I've ever seen. I love the high low effect that the rips in the back of sweater create. Although it is going to be difficult to maintain the warmth in the winter with this top, I'll probably layer it underneath my army jacket with just the edges of the rips showing, so I do think that could be worked around.

I am truly debating whether or not to sell this skirt... should I? should I not? I'm trying to change up my style, maybe focus it even? My style is normally all across the board from crazy neons to this bright pattern on my skirt. I definitely want to try and define my style this year especially since I'm going to college next year. Yikes! It still freaks me out to say that!

Well, back to the outfit. As of lately, I've been really addicted to graphic tees, especially the ones with a black and white color palette. I think it definitely gives any simple outfit a blast of 'pizazz' as my sister Madison likes to say. Give me some recommendations if you think that I should keep the skirt, or if one of you want it!!!!

I wore this the day that I received this beauty of a jacket in the mail... I took it off two minutes after I finished shooting. Of course it has been to hot to wear this, but I cannot wait to break this jacket in until the wrists start to fray.
I've been hoping to pair it with some slouchy sweaters and cuffed jeans with oxfords. I'm feeling like that is going to be my fall wardrobe.
